Rough Paper Effect in Photoshop CS5 1

Today I am come up with a very new effect of Adobe Photoshop CS5, which is called in simple and understanding language “Rough Paper Effect“. We only need Adobe Photoshop (any CS* version) and some basic skills. This effect can use several places as you want.

Well! lets take a look what we gonna create today using Adobe Photoshop.

Step 2:

Now select Gradient Tool (G) and made some changes in Control Panel;

  • Gradient Color: Black and white
  • Color Mode : Linear Gradient
  • Mode : Difference

And put some gradient on the workspace anonymously, as you can see in the following image. I put gradient on the same layer about 1o to 14 time for the following effect, but remember if you need the accurate results then you must select mode Difference.

    Not a bad effect, I would find this a lot more useful if I didn't already have brushes that produced the same effect, but for those of you who don't have scrunched up paper brushes then, you may find this more useful…

    Thank you for the tutorial…
